Hay & Company Consultants Inc. (Hayco) was established in 1984 to provide specialized consulting services in hydraulic and water resources engineering. The company built a solid reputation in water resources engineering through over 25 years of providing solutions to challenging projects both domestically and internationally. Company expertise included a broad spectrum of services, ranging from planning, feasibility and impact studies, to the preparation of conceptual and final designs and construction inspection on water resources engineering projects. The company received a number of industry awards for technical excellence.

In 2004 was acquired by EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd. and continued to operate as a division of that company. In 2010 the decision was taken to discontinue use of the Hay & Company name and to continue doing business under the EBA banner. The group has expanded since the merger and continues to offer a full range of services in the hydrotechnical field.
