Many coastal and watershed studies and
designs require an understanding of environmental hydraulics such as tidal and lake currents, discharges, water temperature, salinity and conductivity. Climate parameters are also needed, such as precipitation, evaporation, temperature, wind speed and direction and solar radiation.
It is often necessary to collect these data to support the management of navigable waters, municipal and industrial water and waste infrastructure, flood protection works and fish habitat.
Hay & Company Consultants has the knowledge and expertise to design flexible and robust field programs and our experienced field staff have deployed, adapted and monitored field instrumentation for immediate and remote data collection in many parts of the world.
